It's history starts
at about 1900 B.C. It was a center of Hitit Kingdom
and then in 1200 B.C.
Asur Kingdom occupied, then Persian Kingdom, Arabs,
Selakids, Romans and Byzantines occupied.
It was known "Sis ion", "Flaviipo-lis",
and "Flavias" and also known "sis"
in new ages.
Armenians occupied it from. Byzantines. Then it
was governed by Sefyuks and Ramazanogullan. People
of Kozan battled against French forces.
