Gazi Museum
It is located in centrum of Samsun, in Kale District, Mecidiye Street. The outer walls of the duplex building are made of brick and the inner sides are lath and plaster work. Atatürk stayed in this building for 6 days known as Mıntıka Palace when he first arrived at Samsun on May 19th, 1919. At Atatürk's second arrival to Samsun (September 20 - 24, 1924), Samsun people gave this building to Atatürk as a gift. At his third (September 16 - 18, 1928) and fourth (November 22 - 26, 1930) visit to Samsun, he stayed in this building given to him.

After completion of restoration works of the building, which is transferred to the Ministry of Culture by Samsun Municipality, the museum was opened to visit on November 8th, 1998.
