Preparing : Wash sardines.
Sprinkle with salt. Put in a colander. Let stand
for 15 minutes; drain. Combine with bay leaves.
Season with pepper. Sprinkle with oil. Wash vine
leaves and wipe well. Brush with oil. Wrap each
sardine with wine leaf. Arrange in a covered baking
dish. Bake in a moderate oven for 30 minutes.
Serve hot.
