Preparation : Brown flour
and almonds in melted butter in a saucepan until
light brown stirring constantly. Set aside. Scald
milk. Add sugar into milk and stir until sugar
is dissolved. Stir milk gradually into flour mixture
blending well. Simmer gently over very low heat
stirring constantly for 5 minutes longer. Remove
from heat. Let stand covered for 30 minutes before
serving. Serve warm.
