(Tadorna ferruginea) (max.2283) prefers the region during
summer, huge numbers of Greater Flamingo (Phoenicopterus
ruber) (max. 59.150), Crane (Grus grus) (max.1200) and
Avocet (Recurvirostra avosetta) (max.2115) uses the
area during autumn. There are numerous water birds (max.
12.801) during winter and immigration period.
