Bird Species: It gains important bird areas status with Red-crested Pochard (Netta rufina) (30 pairs), Montagu's Harrier (Circus pygargus) (15 pairs), Lesser Kestrel (Falco naumanni) (12 pairs) and Spur-winged Plover (Hoplopterus spinosus) (10 pairs) population. There are important numbers of water birds during winter (max. 21.327), leading by White-fronted Goose (Anser albifrons) (max. 19.400). White Stork (Ciconia ciconia) (max. 9550) and Collered Pratincole (Glareola pratincola) (max. 150) can be seen during immigration.
